Marathon Travel and Cruise Shops is Central
Wisconsin’s largest chain of
Travel Agencies. Marathon Travel and Cruise
Shops consists of eight branch offices scattered
throughout Central Wisconsin. These offices are located
in Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids, Plover, Wautoma,
Clintonville, Schofield, Wausau, and Marshfield.
In 1987, Marathon Travel became a member company
of the Noel Group.
Today, Marathon Travel is an American Express
Travel Services affiliate and is uniquely
qualified to provide all of its customers with an
unparalleled level of personal and responsive service.
Marathon Travel's Leisure Travel offices specialize
in vacation consulting. Our vacation
Travel Consultants are specialists in the leisure
industry and are highly trained in all facets of leisure
travel. They have the experience and expertise to
match the traveler’s vacation desires with the
suppliers that can provide their dream vacation. They
can arrange anything from a short weekend trip to
Disneyland to a month-long hike in the Himalayas.
Marathon Travel has the area’s only centralized
Corporate Reservation Center, exclusively
designed to handle the special needs of corporate
travel accounts.Our Corporate Reservations center
services 114 corporate accounts and
more than 5000 business travelers with
a focus on service, quality, integrity and long-term
relationships. The objective of Marathon Travel is
to provide the highest level of service and convenience
to all of our travelers, at rates that are cost effective
